We are now one of the biggest companies supplying the logistics industry with all their storage requirements in Ireland.

Alan Byrne
CEO
Alan Byrne is the CEO of Superior Racking who opens the line of communication between clients, customers, and businesses to get projects done. Alan works closely with CEOs, executives and SMEs, and provides them with all their storage requirements, aligned to their business needs.
After spending nearly a decade working in industrial racking and shelving, in both the private and public sectors, Alan has vast experience in management consultation, sales and operations, design planning, strategic implementation, company collaboration and finishing to a high professional standard.
Alan has managed projects with Barclay Chemicals, Ipsen, MSS, DSV, Ez Living and Harvey Norman.
Dick Redmond
Managing Director
Dick Redmond has 25 years experience in the business. Dick was project manager for Irelands first electric Mobile Shelving System which was in St Vincents Hospital, Dublin. This was high-end filing where staff had to have quick and easy access to over 50,000 patient files and the electric system worked and still works a treat. Dick has sold over €5M worth of contracts for Superior Racking and Shelving and even as a director he gets his hands dirty from time to time.
Outside Superior Racking and Shelving Dick’s passion is his football. He has been Kitman for the Republic of Ireland for the last 21 years and he retired in March 2020 having served under Giovanni Trappatoni, Martin O Neill, Roy Keane and recently Mick McCarthy. Serving his Country is one of the proudest moments of his life.
Dick is currently Hon Secretary of the Leinster Football Association having already served two years as President and 28 years as a committee member.
James McEvoy
Sales Director
For over 30 years James has been a noteworthy leader in providing solutions to storage problems.
His previous life at Dexion for 20 years made him recognisable as a valued contributor to the company. James has many years in the industry that qualifies him as an outstanding engineer.
Driven by sheer hard work and determination to complete a job successfully, James takes immense pride in providing the best service to all his customers.
In addition to his position at Superior Racking & Shelving, James has been recognised by the industry for his commitment to his role.
When James does find the time he likes to participate in running his beloved Finglas Celtic Football Club.
